Is there a difference between an Introduction, a Forward, and a Preface?

So I just finished the first draft of my introduction for my thesis. Seven pages of chocolaty deliciousness. Okay, so it’s really six pages of chocolaty deliciousness and one page of marshmallowy end notes. Nevertheless, a good ratio.

It feels so good to finally get something down on paper after researching it for over a year now. As usual, I fear

I'm thinking the blue one. I have the perfect shrug to wear with it and several shoe options...and I've already scoped out possible necklace choices.

I might also have to get a purse or scarf or something else too...depends how good I do this weekend!
