I did my finances about a week ago, and I ended up overspending so that I would have insufficient funds for my car insurance bill... or did I?
Turns out that by rounding up, I compensated for a few more softball utilities I bought... so I was only off about $30, and I've taken care of that. Heheh, I think it's great that I'm going to be getting paid the same amount that I was for working two jobs, but with one job! I worked an awesome 40.49 hours last week, and this week will be at least 38! Oi, and it's so nice getting off at 2pm. Not only that, but only working 40 hrs instead of 50, or even 55! Plus, I'm getting better at clean up, and today proved it.
We've (the other clean up guy and I) been getting told what we're missing, yelled at for being behind, brought into the office to talk about why we're not on time, and the list goes on. ME over here is saying that damn it, I'm brand new and wasn't even TRAINED on the stuff you are all bringing up to me. Don't you think it's nice when stuff that no one ever did (or even train you on) is being blamed on you, as if you should be doing it every single time. I'm thinking, if it's supposed to be cleaned every time, then why is it so damned dirty and neglected?!?! Seems to me like you're just using me as the scape goat. Ef that. But whatever, I understand the game. I'm a better clean up person for it anyways.
But back to what I was saying, today my manager - Ashley - came inside from doing the outside CU check, and told me I did a great job outside. Plus, I was getting potato buckets done before 10am (which is right on que), so the day went smooth and everyone was happy.
On a side note, I tried doing 1 rental at a time through blockbuster: total access, but I can't handle it. I want 3! Plus, the Anamatrix didn't get shipped to me, so we didn't have our rental for over a week. When I'm paying for them, I want them! So I've watched a few 'visions' from the Anamatrix thus far. Tis the bomb. I love The Matrix, so this is way fun. Plus, we go over the Matrix in Philosophy all the time.
Speaking of which, I have philosophy in an hour and a half, so I must read. We're being quizzed on "The Nature of Mind," D.M. Armstrong. I'm sure you're all excited about it. Peace.
