Mission... actually accomplished
Hi. I've been pretty busy and tired, and our internet has been acting up... well, someone else's connection which we are using is giving us a hard time, so I haven't been on here much.
Today I got my last BA check, which was a hefty one compared to usual. I bought a new softball glove, as well as a softball and sliding shorts. I'm ready for the league games to begin this Sunday! Oh yeah, I'm in a softball league team with Kasie which my step dad started. My mom is in it too. There are 8 teams in total, so it'll run 9 Sundays, the last being the tournament day for the top 4. I'm stoked to play; I love baseball and softball.
I also booked a dentist appointment for a routine cleaning and some x-rays of my impacted tooth. We'll then send the x-rays over to an orthodontist and discuss what we might do. I'm figuring we'll come up with a payment plan, and work on fixing my mouth! I look forward to that!
I accomplished a lot today, actually. Dentist appointment, closure at BA, bills and other payments made, splurging on softball materials, bought the 2nd front shock for my TA, oh -- and took the English assessment test! Since CSM doesn't really have an english course, I've needed to take this assessment test in order for them to place me in a legit class, rather than having to be in an english course beneath my abilities. I think I damn near aced the test, so I'm looking at English 300! I'll find out tomorrow after work :-)
Have I ever mentioned that I love my apartment? Just about every day, I look around and am proud of myself. I have my own place... and it's clean... most of the time... but it smells good. OH, speaking of my apartment, we got a big trashcan finally. Yeah, this one is like, 15 liters or something. Our other one was so tiny, it barely reached past my knees. This one is a hell of a lot bigger, so it doesn't fill up so damn fast! And now we're using the smaller one for recycling.
Ok, I'm finally almost done with the book I'm reading: "The Enemy Within by Michael Savage." I'm a conservative, what can I say? I'm reading every night again, so I look forward to finishing many books I've always wanted to read. Ok, have to work clean up in the morning, so hasta.
