Band camp is running awesomely. Ms. Warner is a great director and the Becky/Corey team are doing great as drum majors.
I truly have missed marching band this last year and am very excited to be a part of this years band program. Can't wait for
jazz to start up!
I have to wake up at 6am to get there though. That sucks big ones, but hey -- it's worth it. Which then makes me think, "Well,
if I can wake up at 6 for marching band, why not 7 for church?" So that's a little something in the back of my head, i must say.
Kasie is out by the beach on a trip with her family and best friend Ashley. I WAS asked first, but I have summer school still,
so darn it! But hey, just got an A on my last history 'midterm' and psych... I think I did well. Back to Kas, she doesn't have any
signal out there apparently (and neither does her mom and Ashley), which SUCKS! WTF Mate?
I can't wait to see the drum and bugle corps movie on August 10th. Oh yeah, I'm totally seeing it.
Oh yeah, and as a side note: we had pitched in to get my Mom 2 tickets to see American Idol (only for Chris Daughtry :-P) --
and she emailed a radio station DJ seeing if she could get Meet&Greet passes. Keep in mind that she's a moderator
representing everyone on mrdaughtry.com and thedaughtrynation.com. Long story short, RCA 19 Entertainment gave her
"Deanna Gaither +1" Meet&Greet passes. SHE'S EFFING GOING TO MEET CHRIS DAUGHTRY NOW! AND WITH KASIE!
That's right -- my mom chose KASIE to go with her. I'm very excited for them. (they have many items [quilt, pics, and such]
that they have for him). fun fun fun!!!
