boo! Happy Halloween
Wow Amanda, you updated a lot today.
I need to get back into writing in this thing. I used to use LJ all the time and now I use myspace more because that's where everyone contacts me.
Anyway, I just got home from Philly last night. The weekend was a disaster, which I don't plan on going into because I don't feel like talking about it. But on a positive note, the course was beautiful (of course!!! It's philly!) and it didn't rain. I love Philadelphia because everyone rows. It's just expected lol. Being in that atmosphere reminded me of how much I miss my teammates and competitive racing. I feel like I should move and be intensely involved in coxing like I have been the last 9 years of my life but really I don't see it happening right now because I'm in school. But I guess the grass is always greener on the other side and I've been on both sides soooo...for now, I should just chill and be happy with coaching and less competitive coxing. And I did cox this weekend at the Schuykill and got 5th place. And I saw Brett there which I wasn't expecting. It was so good to see someone from Michigan, it made me happy.
So, remember I told you guys how I got a new cat? Well, he's been very sick ever since I got him. He's on medication but he isn't getting better and today he was sneezing out blood. It was very scary. I wanted to cry because I felt helpless and the clinic wasn't open. He's just very skinny and doesn't feel well so he cries a lot and always has to be with me. It's incredibly hard but once he's better everything will be okay. He loves me and Dillydoo so much...it's so cute.
Tomorrow...well wait...TODAY is Halloween!!!! Weeee Happy Halloween!!!!! I am going downtown with Jenny and some other people. Ash- are you going? I'm dressing as a french Maid...very sexy right? Don't worry, I'll be posting pictures. Eric always used to tell me that Halloween was a girls opportunity to dress like a slut and not have people judge her. Huh...I guess he has a point. Last year at this EXACT time Eric and I were up in Michigan standing in front of my house in the freezing cold, kissing and making fun of all the people walking by...then we headed upstairs and role played for like 2 hours of great sex. I was the older woman and he was the high school boy lol...GOD that was so fun. I miss those days.
Okay, well...now that you heard all about THAT...
I think I should be heading to bed. If you want to go out with me tomorrow night (Halloween) let me know! The more the merrier!
Oh and by the way! TRISTAN PRETTYMAN is coming to Orlando with her boyfriend Jason Mraz at the House of Blues on December 4th! I can't wait!!!! That's going to be a great weekend, Washington DC for a USRowing convention and I'm hanging out with my friend Raul and then I get to come home to Tristan!!!!!! =) sooo happy.
