Shopping Advice...
I received a $40 gift card to Best Buy for Christmas and don't really know what to spend it on. Movies or video games seem the obvious choice, but there's nothing in either category that jumps out at me that I need to have.
Eventually I'd like to get all of the Star Wars movies on DVD, but $40 isn't going to cover half of that and I'd kind of like to wait and see if they come out with a boxed set of all six movies.
As far as games go, I have a PC (of course) and a Playstation 2. If I get a game, I'm leaning towards one for the PS2 instead of the PC because the PS2 is in the living room. I have no interest in any sports games and currently have Burnout 3 and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. I've played a number of PC games, but the various incarnations of Mechwarrior were my favorite. Unfortunately, the console version fo MW is only available on the Xbox (Damn you, Bill Gates!)
Any suggestions?
EDIT:I was thinking about The Sims 2. Does anyone know if the console version is as good as the PC version?
