(no subject)
I am back in Ottawa once again. I came down to Ottawa on Christmas Day with Husband to see my parents. Saturday we all drove down to Kingston and dropped off Husband who had to be back at work on Saturday night and then the rest of us drove the rest of the way down to Toronto to visit with my grandmother. Yesterday we went to see my grandmother in the morning and then had a visit with my aunt and my other aunt and her husband before we once again hit the road and drove back to Ottawa. It was only two days but it seemed like so much longer and we spent so much of it in the car! Going down took about six hours on Saturday because the weather was so bad - freezing rain in Ottawa and then crazy fog from Kingston to Toronto.
I'm glad to be back in Ottawa and I'm hoping to meet up with people and have some fun over the next week or so before I have to go back to work. :)
I phoned Husband and the news from home is as follows: the apartment still looks like a storm hit it, he is unpacking our Christmas presents (including setting up my external hard-drive!) and sister-in-law still has not had the baby. Any day now we will be aunt and uncle :) They said that if nothing has happened by the 31st they would have to go in and try to induce or do something so for now they are just waiting. Hopefully I will hear something soon :)
