fireworks
so today i worked at Rancho La Zaca catering for New West Catering of santa barbara. It was the craziest event ever!
250 adults + 50 kids + horses, rodeo, midway games (knife throwing, anyone?), shooting range... = MADNESS
Highlights of the day included trying to find brown horseshoes in piles of loose hay that was the same color (OY!!), serving drinks to Rob Thomas of matchbox 20 (he's short!), and getting sprayed with a bunch of horse dung in mist form as the ranch hands were washing down horses after the rodeo. yeeeee-haw!
It's weird to see people wearing jeans and a cowboy hat....and Prada and Gucci. Rich cowfolk.
On the way home i saw fireworks in Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, La Conchita, Ventura, Oxnard, and Camarillo!!
