so im in Portland and its excellent. today i taught ava how to ice skate. im still not used to the west coast time so i end up falling asleep at like 9 and waking up at 9 when everyone else does. therefore im always tired. liek right now. i love it here but sometimes i just wanna be home. taking care of kids is tiring. more so than i thought. lolly must be purely exhausted when bens at work and shes by herself. we might go to the beach later on in the week so thatll be nice except the weather has been not so great. its always cold and then toward like 3 it either gets kind of nice or it thunderstorms. there are more homeless people in portland than in dc it seems like. especially downtown. everyone here is really weird but in a good way i guess. theyre more laid back than bethesda or even kensington. today i saw some 2 year old kid with a mohawk and a ramones jean jacket on. its sort of disturbing when parents do that. just let your kid be what he wants when he gets older... dont force things on them. ugh im gonna go lay down my stomach hurts.
