camp fletcher
hey u guys i havent posted in a while but i just got back from my volunteer job at camp fletcher... omg it was so much better than last time i was there.
omg this councelor ollie was soo hott omg nto to mention he's from whales so his accent is even better!! lol
well i got there sunday ahd it was much better because i knew where to go and people who i needed to talkj to to get info... so i went to my room and changed into shorts and a t-shirt and went back up to the staff house to see every1 and say hey but they were all in a meeting. so i talked to these 2 little girls who were so sweet and they were twins and we talked for a couple of mins then my firned laura from camp last year who is a jounior councelor this year came out and we got a ride to our room and hung out till it was time for the campers to get there so they all got there and i had to play name games with the kids to keep them busey.
then we had dinner and then hung out int he cabin abd talked then we went to snack and ate sum more... i think i gained more weight then lost since there was no a/c and all i did all day was run around in circles.
so it was fun and we didnt got o bed till bout 1 suthin and i got to hang out with ollie for like 20 mins cause he was waiting for some traveling kids toget out of the shower so he could get 1... so we talked and had fun then me and laura read and mrs. emily the councelor of my group that i hung out with read too... so then i laid down and feel asleep later laura came in but i dunno what time. the next day i had to get up at 6:30 so i could get a shower b4 the girls got up. and i had the hardest time waking up. i played with the kids and had an hour break then on my break was right b4 dinner so i went to sleep and didnt wake up till after dinner so i went back to bed since i had missed it and there wasnt nething else for me to do so i slept till after snack witch is at 8 so i slept for about 4 hours then watched a couple of skits the kids did and appologized to the director for dallin asleep too long and she said it was ok cause her daughter had too. so we went back to the cabins and laura and me talked about camp expiriences and stuff it was fun so we went to bed around 12:30 then got up around 7:30 that morning and did the useual 4-square except i had water games so i was trying to stay dry cause i wasnt in my baithing suit so i ended up getting soaked from head to toe it was fun. then i cant really remember nemore, but that night we did a blob hunt where some councelors get to hide under sheets and the kids have to find them and ask 5 questions and guess which 1 it is... so i got to hide and i was so excited so i sat there and sat and finally a group came but by then i was completely drenched in sweat cause i had to run all the way across the camp for my hiding place wich was at the front of the camp and then sit under a blanket in 100 degree weather on the wet ground lol not fun but they couldnt guess me caouldnt rember my name. 2 groups guessed me right but they were both the groups my sibs were in but 1 group had it but they didnt say it... 1 girl was like is it lauren but no1 else wanted to ask me cause it was the last question...the way u answer is 1 clap is no and 2 is yes... have to be yes or no questions but so since i didnt have a radio i didnt know when it was over cause usually they ring this huge bell that u can hear all over camo but they didnt so all i heard was a song they sing to get every1 to be quiet so i was like o crap so i ran as fast as i could to get back to the dinning hall and ollie was like right in front of the door so he was laughing at me and i told laura what happened she just laughed then ollie came up and started talling these jokes off of the lafy taffy things... like where snow men go to have a fancey party... a snowball. lol and how does a farmer count his shepp... with a cow- culator lol he almost died laughing it was so funny... lol
so me and laura went back to cabins and got onto the girls cause they made a mess in the bathrooms and mrs. emily had to clean up poop off the boys toilet seats it was gross so i swept the porch and mine and lauras room since we had to share so we cleaned a bit b/c these people were coiming to check out the camp to make sure it was clean and they were following all the rules and stuff and we got a hundred yeah!! so neways not much happened untill yeaterday some girl pooped in the pool so the life gurads had to swim to the bottom of the pool with net and scoop it up.. so funny and last night mrs. emily had to go to the staff house to do papper work so me and laura had to make sure the girls went to bed and even after we told them to go to bed they were still talking like any1 is goint o bed at 10 pm at camp.. so she was goint o get onto them gbut they have a screen door and then a real door and the screen door is really squeaky so they knew she was coiming in so they laid down fast well she told them to be quiet and lay down and shut the door and came backa nd sat in her chair on the porch and we just kept talking so later like 3 mins later they started talking again so laura got up and walked really slow and quiet up to the door and whoosh... opened the screen door and busted through the big door and scarded the kids to death it was soo funny so they got in trouble but after that they went to bed then ollie came up to take a shower and after he got out, hung out with me and laura and we talked about like gay names and stuff lol he was like this is the most mature conversation ive had all sumer sarcasticly lol so we explained to hi that we were a lot more mature then normal 15 year olds even though its hard to tell with me. so we talked for a few mins with him. then he started talking about how he hasnt been a unit laeder all summer and it was imberassing to him cause it was like saying he was incompitant... lol so then he had to go cause he had to back at the boys cabin by 12:30 and it was like 12:25 so he walked off and not 2 mins later i see him runnin down the road towards us so we asked if he forgot sumthin and he was like no i just wanted to tell u not to tell the director he was upset he didnt get to be a unit leader cause he wanted to be asked and not just a pitty thing lol so then he ran off. lol it was weird. lol so around 1 we went to bed and i went right to bed cause i didnt get a break all day lol.
so today i set my alarm for like 7 20 last night but didnt get up till bout 7 45 lol so we slept through the alarm for 45 mins lol so we went to breakfast and i didnt eat cause it was gross food and i wasnt hungry so neways first hour from 9 30 till 10 30 i was supposed to be packing but ryan the canoe person asked me and laura to help him take a group cause there wasnt enough councelors so we got dressed and went. it was like the canoe trip from hell lol. well we got there and got our cnoes int he water usually we just go up stream where the water goes slow and so its easiy but this time we went down stream and there was a bunch of rapids so it u didnt go down just right u would get stuck... wel im not that great of a canoer. lol. so the first rapids were easy causr the rocks were small but then when we got off it was hard to get straight and wait for the others so we got stuck in the bushes a couple of times and it wouldnt be that bad but there giant spiders in the trees that hang down low so sometimes they fall in the canoe. the second were so hard to get past we got stcuk so i got out to get un stuck and some of the girls were getting out so i was like fine get out so they did and so i attempted to morve the canoe on some rocks but the rocks under me were really slippery so it was really hard but i eventually got it right then it was time so i had to get the girls back in to canoe lol yeah right that took forever then ryan had to push us off cause the current was flowing really hard. so we got out then got stuck again on the first rapids even though they werent that bad they rocks were int he way so he had to push us off again then we had to go to the docka nd it took me 2 tries to get near the dock. lol it was hard cause its only like 10 feet long and there is a bunch of trees around it so the thing has to be angled perfectly or youll crash. lol so then me and laura went back to the cabin to get rinsed off and i had field games w/ ollie and dave so i rinsed off and got dressed and was on my way to the room when laura said that i had to help ryan canoe again cause there was 9 kids and 1 person to steer so i had to change agian so i fussed and got changed back then went down to the river and it my little sis's group so they were all fighting to be in my canoe lol i felt so loved lol poor laura like no1 wanted to be in hers lol so i had 3 and ryan had 3 and she had 2 lol it was better cause we just went the reguler wayt upstream but we couldnt go to the waterfall cause there was a tree in the way so we went there and back not far not even 100 yards away so we chilled and splashed each other... lol laura wanted to stay dry lol yeah right she was soaked and i was too so we went back to the cabin took showers then went to lunch and had some whimppy baked potaoes... the smallest 1s ive ever seen!!! lol so the rolls were good then i was supposed to be off so i packed some then asked the water games people if they needed ne help but they didnt then i went o the arts and crafts cabin and hung out with lovell and laura for an hour then i was supposed to have field games and i went down to the field and no1 was there cause they all went swimming so i hungout in the arts and crafts place for a while till some kids came then we turned on the radio. it was fun so then i had to help the people get ready for the parents to get there so i helped set up charis and stuff then me and laura hung out for a bit... but she had left her shirt at home so she asked me to run up to the country store and get her 1 since i needed 1 too and mr. david was there getting some for his guys.. so i ran up a hill and down a hill and when i got there i was ll out of breath so he couldnt understand me and they only had 2 shirts of the kind she wanted and they were both x-tra large so i got her 1 and i got another light blue 1 thats cute too and then ran back to the cabin and gave it to her but come to find out she had 1 in her siutcase it just wasnt the 1 she wanted to wear. so i was kinda mad but it was ok cause i needed 1 neways lol so we went to the kitchen and waited for all the parets to get there and stuff so we did the closing thing and gave out awards. then at the end when every1 was leaving this girls from school maggie like came up to me and just started talking to me like i didnt know u worked here and we talkeda bout like age and stuff and getting paid so she said she was gonna try to work there next summer i hope she does cause she is so much fun to hang out with. so then we went to mc donalds and the play place was closed... lol and now im home and its taken forever for me to write all this so i hope it was ok sorry its so long but a lot happened
