Right now I have nothing to do. The most exciting thing today would be helping my sister pack and cleaning the house. Boat loads of fun right there! I also get to babysit on Saturday for two hours. At least it pays well (I think). But I am very excited for Monday when my friend comes over. We still don't really have a clue for what to do but it will be fun hanging with him again!
I am thinking about writing a story on here and you all can comment about what you think. You don't have to worry about hurting my feelings by saying you don't like it, but try to give a piece of information on what you think might help the story. Okay?
As the rain pounded against the window pane, Amber hoped that Nick would soon return. He had left to go help his mother who was heavily dependent on the help of her three sons. That was six hours ago though and there had been no call as to when he would be getting back. The news was all the same tonight. The same updates on the deaths of soldiers and how they still needed to stay there. Amber decided to start heading toward bed thinking that Nick and his mother had gone out to eat somewhere. Right as she shut her eyes and started to drift off the phone rang. Amber fumbled around for the phone in the dark. When she answered, tears began to stream down her face. While Nick was on his way home in the storm a man walked out in front of traffic. Nick swerved out of the way just in time to save the man but in doing so he lost control of the car and ran head first into a telephone pole. By the time the EMT's had arrived at the crash scene, Nick was dead. His skull had been fractured and there was nothing they could do to help him. The man in the road was intoxicated. As she hung up she tried to imagine that they had gotten a wrong number, that it wasn't her Nick, and that he was pulling into the driveway right now. She had to go see him with her own two eyes. As she got into the car, she turned the radio up. She heard a song by a new artist the lyrics made her cry again, That I think of you and in my head/ There’s music, our song/ And slowly I come to know you’re gone. As she ran into the hospital, Nick's brothers were sitting in a corner holding tears back. She went to Nick's room he lay there. She put her head on his chest and wispered that he would wake up and she would see hi smiling back at her. But slowly it sunk in. Nick was dead...
Okay if you didn't notice I used part of his lyrics again. They just seemed to work well. Okay, so now is the time to let me know what you think so far. It is depressing, I know but hopefully it will get better.
