:D well when i was 9 there was this worst case scenario in an atomic power plant in neighbouring Czechia ... and it was raining afterwards, so i don't worry about sitting in front of the computer for too long ;)

Actally, most people don't understand the word. My grandfather uses it all the time in speech. He has funny names for things... like he calls women's legs "pins" like bowling pins, or anyone's noes is refered to as a "snoz".
"Good caripe!" is an expression that means "wow", "i can't believe it" or "that is rediculious". I catagorize it with "Ay Carumba!" ,(The phrase that the popular pop icon Bart Simpson coined which is like "good grief!")

funny to learn about english expressions that grandparents use!! i think if one starts using that kind of expressions all foreigner fail to understand what you mean!
maybe i should use good caraipe it from now on ;) call me big pretender!
