Kowalski
Last night Paddy gave me an advanced copy of his band's EP. They are called Kowalski. I did a bit of singing in the studio with them about a month ago now, so it's pretty exciting for me as well! I had such a good day with them. It was really relaxed and it was so good to have like-minded people to bounce ideas off. I didn't want to feel that I was taking over the show, lol, but they did like some of my ideas, such as the hand claps, and yes, it was me who mentioned the birds outside the studio... I'm guessing that the 2 out of 3 people who read my journal will not have a clue what I'm talking about...soooo....come along to Auntie Annies on 28th June for the EP launch!! You can bag yourself a copy! It should be a really good night. They are having the people involved with the recording performing with them. So that includes me, a trumpeter and a violinist ;)
As I said to Amy, i probably sound like a gimp the way I big up Kowalski, but I do genuinely love them. Such nice guys too. They are all taking a year out in September to do a bit of touring etc, and they seem to be getting some decent contacts interested in them.
Well, enough of my ramblings! It would seriously be class if you could come along to the launch, as it promises to be a really good night. Spread the word big time! (Oh, apparently Josh's birthday is round about that time, so if he could not have his party on that night that would be great, lol)
