I watched the Stepford Wives this evening. Nicole Kidman is beautiful and her dresses really were something. I find that I can like a movie simply because the costumes are pretty. Bette Midler was funny. Actually Stepford Wives was about as mediocre as I expected it to be. About half way through, I expected it to have some kind of social comment, or even feminist comment. But the ending was strange and any message was lost on me.
I watched The Terminal. That movie had a few emotionally moving scenes, but overall it was bland, too.
I thought I'd have something more interesting to write, but I'm in too much of a funk. Give me a break. Finals just finished. I'm trying to wind down a bit.
