San Diego
Ok...I first stepped foot in this city two years ago and was only able to stay here for a few hours before flying out. I told myself I'd be back here someday because i just got a good vibe in this city. And here i am, back here on another work trip but get to stay here for a few days. the 4th - the 8th of December setting up a Cyber Cafe (repair and display shop) for 300 of our best salesmen in the company. It's pretty fricken bad ass.
Anyway, we fly in and already it's 65 degrees and the sun is shining on my face...i can't stop smiling. Boise has had snow and fog for almost two weeks straight and the sun seems like a distant star, to have the sun hit my face was sooo nice.
First thing we do is hit Weinerschnizel(spelling) and down some chili cheese dogs which are so good! After that, we hit out hotel. We are staying at the holiday inn on the bay because the hotel everybody else is staying it was like 230 a night, and this one is 109. With my platinum status at holiday inns they bumped me to a balcony bay room....awesome! So here i am on my balcony, looking over the pacific ocean and the USS Midway aircraft carrier museum and typing in my live journal. Earlier in the day we almost crashed an Amway party they had on the Midway, but we got caught and one lady asked us for our badges...when we almost got on for free! lol.... boo! Anyway, back to being on the balcony....i hear a boom...and then a bang...I look up and see fireworks going off. They continually blast for the next 10 minutes and it's beautiful. So beautiful....i had a few ladies smile at me today too. I must look really good in my Guiness hat! Well that's what I'm hoping for anyway haha...
So, I bid thee goodnight San Diego...the first night of many to come. You have already begun to pull me from my slump these last two weeks...by putting a smile on my face.
