Recommendations, please

What the title says:
I've gone through most of the recommendations you all have made through the years, and am definitely craving more. alltheleaves recently posted about something fantastic she'd read (which of course I can't recall at the moment), and it made me realize I hadn't started one of these in a while.
So, any and all recommendations appreciated, with the caveat the writing must be good-to-exceptional (the editing has to be, too).
Otherwise I'm open to fiction or non-fiction, genre not important, and hopefully it will truly grab my attention; the sort of book that's so good, so engrossing, you honestly can't put it down, but you also dread finishing because then it will be over.
