some effective ways to relieve physical annoyances with essential oils: (i've tried all these and they work marvellously.)

for bad menstrual pains hold a bottle of clary sage under your nose and inhale with large, deep breaths.

for hay fever do the same with peppermint oil. if your nose is blocked from the sinus you can inhale through your mouth.

for insomnia a few drops of camomile and lavender on your pillow really helps, also ten drops of each in an oil burner with water. when i do this one i usually wake feeling so fresh and lovely.

ylang ylang, lavender and clary sage inhaled with deep breaths helps to calm anxiety and stressful feelings.

sniffing (as in smelling!) peppermint can help with nausea as well as putting one drop in a glass of water. this also helps with indigestion problems.

i think aromatherapy is quite amazing. it's actually scientifically proven to work with the chemicals in your brain.
