I said mostly the same thing over the phones. I do not think our salvation will lie in any particular ideology though.

You must consider the possibility. There is a lot of anti-communist sentiment in this town meant to discourage us from it... One has to wonder why.

We are in America. Before I arrived here, a senator named McCarthy was stirring the public into an anti-Communist frenzy. It would be more odd if such sentiment didn't exist here.
