It's pretty on my monitor too... but I can see where it might tend toward healing-bruise. Then again, that's a fun shade... would go nicely with my mostly-black wardrobe *grin*

I'm really enjoying seeing the things you're creating. My mom says she wants to knit me some fingerless gloves - is the yarn you dye the right sort of weight for that? (I know NOTHING)

Yes, it's a perfect weight for fingerless gloves. Socks too. Lucky you!!

LOL whatever color you like best! Wait until everything's up in the shop at the end of the weekend, though.

Jumped the gun ;) (I've been eyeing that Styx since the day you put it up)
But if I see something else I like I will get it too!

LOLOL!! I'm so glad that went to a good home.

There will be lots of yarn. Hooray! You'll love it; it's beautiful in person. And the yarn is just delicious. You MUST show us pics of the mitts.

So, I took the Styx over to my mom's today and she LOVES it. She's not entirely sure she wants to make the gloves out of it, but she found it very inspiring. She can't stop rubbing it (so soft). Also I hadn't seen it in sunlight yet... WOW.

Anyhow, yes, very happy customer here! Out of curiosity, are you planning any heavier yarns? If this is a stupid question feel free to educate me <----knitting-illiterate ;)

I can totally see a market for yarn with names like 'healing bruise.' Goth yarn! :)
