I am super looking forward to Les Mis - the trailers look amazing and it even seems like they've taken a lot of inspiration from the book.
But I really think Russell Crowe will be the weak link:
He sounds okay, he can sing alright. But he can't hold the notes, and he can't pull of the range. Acting wise, I think he'll make a brilliant Javert, but singing...not so much. This isn't a rock song, Russell! What's with the bouncing?
I hope I'm wrong and Stars proves me wrong.
