its official. I'm sick. strep more then likely ::Sigh::
kyle came over last night, wednesday that is, and made me cheesesteaks and offered to buy half of the comics I have on hold at steve's (I didn't even ask. I planned on buying them over a time slowly once my paycheck came in, but he totally surprised me with that!). Which I had a pretty impressive stack (at least 20) since I haven't been in for a month at least.
it made me so happy to see him. that's twice in a week he's come to my place to see me. and it really made me happy that he was thinking about me like that.
sorry to everyone I haven't really talked to (yeah like two of you...) or read your posts. I wake up at 7:30am, take a shower, check my mail real quick, get to work by 8:30am, work until 5:30pm (with a hour break, but I can't access very much at work and really its better that way, I talk to my coworkers more and get to know them instead of disappearing into my online world), get home by 6:15pm, eat, check mail, watch TV, read until dad gets home, talk to dad while he eats, watch something with him, check mail at about 11:30pm, stay on till at the latest 12:30am and either read (if I get go to bed before midnight) or go right to sleep (if i'm exhausted or its past 12:30).
My body is slowly growing accustomed to it. But since I'm sick...well a runny nose, sore throat and restless sleep make it hard for me to get better.
plus I keep having half-dreams where I am at the daycare center and I get up and start to pick up children (if they are doing something unsafe like climbing onto tables), help herd them (to go outside) or just get up for no reason. Its weird. I know i'm at home, but then I see Ian or Ethan (two of the kids I have at work) doing something and its like 'crap if I don't do something i'll get in trouble' and at the same time think 'but how can they yell at me if I'm at home asleep...'

digitalxsushix (my dear friend Kinbrae) HAPPY BIRTHDAY. you definately deserve something better then a shout out on LJ, but I'll try to make it up to you after I pay my debts back okay? Plus I need to send you your CD. ::sigh:: its on the list I swear. I'm sorry I can't call you either, but its hard enough keeping my voice high enough to talk to the kids...I don't think you wanna hear me croak into the phone 'havvy birherda kibay' (yes I just said it out loud to see how I sound and that's how it sounds to me. luckily i'm dealing with toddlers, so if they hear a firm voice, they just stop doing whatever it is they are doing).

ps: i forgot how much I loved the tarma/kethry stories by Mercedes Lackey...until I re-read them. Its the 'Vows and Honor' series of books (Oathbound collects the short stories from the Sword and Sorceress anthologies, plus 2 new novels and 1 'continuation' novel that more firmly places Tarma/Kethry's storylines in Valdemar).
pps: Alex Archer's 'Rogue Angel' books are fun. Science fiction my ass--its adventure, history, fantasy, magic...its fun. try the first book 'Rogue Angel: destiny'.
