A day late and a dollar short, this here's my review of the amazing candies I recieved.
First comes the canada maple walnut bar: soft, sweet, and utterly amazing. I had an ice cream flavor similar to it once. If I could eat them every day, I would.
The purple bottle is sugar mixed to the consistancy of your average shampoo. While I've consumed more sugar than that before (and I will again) somehow the prospect of finishing this is daunthing. It considers itself to be grape cream soda. I assume the soda part is due to the soda bottle shape, but the cream is lost in the grape flavor? It's pretty extreme, is all I know.
The sour belts were really nicely sour, flavored like sour apples. My brother and I agree that there's a not unpleasant slight salt taste to them, and that hint tastes just like Play-Doh. I'm just sayin'.
The zero bar had not only a psychadelic wrapping, but also a very classy creamy inside. It's like a candy bar version of a truffle. It went pretty fast, despite our best efforts.
The whistle was called a tounge painter because it had a softer, redder, and I think more tart substance at the tip of the clear sucker part. I liked it a great deal, however, it was tough getting all of the candy out of the whistle so that the toy didn't attract ants.
But a huge favorite was whatever those things in the bag are. I think the consensus was that they were currants.
In short, everything was delicious, and completely new to me. Thank you, candy swap partner!
