Well that's it.  It's all over.  It was fun while it lasted... I wish I had gone out a bit more but I think we did pretty well.  Saw Mother Mother play at Robson Square on Saturday with C&J and they stayed over.  They band was really good.  I didn't even know they were from Victoria before!   Sunday was a gong show.  Everything was full by 10am so we ended up watching the game at Angelo's work.  It was fun anyway and the 4 of us managed to make a lot of noise on our own.  Driving them back to Burnaby Kingsway was empty!  Everyone must have been downtown!  People were on the side of the road cheering and waving flags.  We came back into town and went to grab a bite at the Naam.  Kits was full of revelers and when we headed home over burrard there were tons of people walking over the bridge.  Lots of cheering, flag waving, and honking everywhere.  Our neighborhood was surprisingly quiet considering.

Now it's back to normal.  We're going to a second showing tonight.  I am feeling excited, nervous and hopeful.
