Christmas warm-up
Friday I took half a vacation day and left at 12 to go shopping. I actually managed to get almost all of my Christmas shopping done in one fell swoop. Only thing left is some stocking stuffers for A. A and I met up at Hons and had dinner and planned out the weekend. He decided to stay in Van.
I went to Victoria on the 9am ferry A picked me up and we went back to her place where her hubby G was making us breakfast. We feasted and then went to do a little shopping - hitting up Micheals in search of some Christmas crafts and checking out other cool shops in her hood. I ran into my aunt and uncle at the grocery store! We went back to thier plance and played Wii Trivial Pursuit and watched some movies and had dinner and I stayed over. It was a nice mellow day and a great catch up. I finished reading Zorba the Greek and decided to leave it behind in case one of them would like to read it.
In the morning we had coffee and then A and I headed out to Gordon Head to pick up C and go for dimsum downtown. Nice visit at dimsum, then out for coffee and to a couple shops for a peek. I picked up a guitar ornament for (my) A's stocking from the Christmas store. Then Angie dropped us off at C's and I stayed and we had a bit more of a visit and I got to play a bit with her little boy S. S is one and such a good boy, he is so happy and easy going.
Then I went to my parent's place and P was there and we had a little visit and M&D came home and his girlfriend C came over and we all had a late lunch/early dinner and a nice visit. Then P and C went "home". (Apparently they are living together now. Whatever.) M&D and I played a few hands of Bariba until Dad and I had to go so I could catch the 7:00 ferry back. I treated myself to new book on the ferry and it is really good. A picked me up in Tsawassen and we swapped weekend stories and went home and cuddled.
Back at work today but can't wait until Chrismas!
