The festive season begins.
Saturday A and I met with a mortgage broker to see what we would prequalify for. Now we see the downside of writing off a lot of expenses for tax purposes. Oh well... Later A dropped me of at C's place for her ladies night games night which was full of appys, coctails and charades. It was mostly her coworkers and me because her other non-coworker friends no-showed. A good time was had by all. They are a fun bunch.
Sunday I was planning on getting started on my Christmas baking (A fixed the oven!) but we got a call from N & L and an invite to meet them in Abbotsford for a walk and visit. I was feeling generous so we agreed to drive out. It was a nice catch up and they even treated us to dinner (in part because we drove out and in part because it was thier turn). Once again, good times all around. :) Today I am going home to cook dinner in the oven (hoo-ray, no more stovetop dinners!) and hopefully make some nuts n bolts (if mom sends me her promised recipe). Then I will be enjoying a little GG action before bed. I can't wait to see what the tumultous teens are up to this week :P
