Life's Update
So I realize it has been around 3 weeks or so since my last post (slaps hand). Where to begin. First and foremost the usual things have kept me occupied which are school (taking 2 summer classes which are overlapping at the moment), work, and Will.
School is going. I am currently enrolled in Accounting 1 (which will be over by Thurs. next week) and Managerial Calculus (ucky). For accounting, I only need a "C" to move onto accounting 2. I have to catch up on a couple of assignments, but I do like the instructor. Our final isn't comprehensive and will cover the last 4 chapters lectured over...yay!
Managerial Calculus is another story. Math and I have never really gotten along. It doesn't help matters that the instructors teaching style and my learning style have been clashing. I am very grateful that Will has been helping me through the chapters (even though we butt heads and frustrate each other). He's a saint for dealing with me and my learning style of wanting to know the pattern behind how to solve the problems and the reasoning behind doing it a certain way. I am rather envious of him that he just intuitively gets and understands math. Too bad some of that can't rub off on me. Again, for this course I just need to get a "C" to pass it and move on to the next hellish math course required for my major. Almost done......can see the faint light at the end of the tunnel leading towards my undergrad degree.
Work has also occupied my time, though not intensively. It is actually pretty easy going and laid back. I was trained this week on some new proceedures for different applications that they want me to work cases on....yay! Once I have access to the applications and work on some cases, I will get the hang of it. For the most part now, when I am not working on cases I enjoy chatting with co-workers and surfing the net.
And things with Will and myself are going good. We usually see each other on the weekends with each of us taking turns to drive to the other and visit. Although Will has made the main effort the past couple of times due to me needing to work on school or having other things come up. Again he's a saint. I will certainly have to make more of an effort once I am only dealing with one class.
Anyway there is an update of my life.
