TITLE: Rapunzel And Aladdin
CHAPTER: One
PAIRING: Matsumoto x Aiba / Ohno x Aiba
RATING: PG13
SUMMARY: Aiba needed his consent to go. Without Ohno, there was no getting out of the locked trapdoor that led to the stairs; only he had the key.
Jun skidded around the corner so fast that he almost slipped and fell. However, it wouldn’t have done him any good to fall, so he just kept pumping his legs until he could feel the lactic acid building up into cramps. His sides had stitches so tight that they brought tears to his eyes, and breathing was starting to get difficult.
He still didn’t stop. The sounds of hooves was like thunder behind him, and he could hear the sharp yells of the guards. If he gave into his body’s wish to stop, he would be captured and probably hung.
So he tightened his grip on his satchel, balled his hands into fists and ran even faster.
Very soon, he reached the edge of the village, but he still didn’t stop running. As he swerved through the dense trees, leaping fallen logs and tripping on vines, he noticed that the sound of his pursuers had faded to the extent that he could hardly hear them.
Jun didn’t stop until his legs turned to led and he was so deep into the forest that there was hardly any space to walk. Finally, his legs gave way and he sank to the floor. He crawled to the nearest tree and sat up against it, letting out a long breath of relief and clutching his satchel to his chest as if it was the most precious thing that he owned.

Aiba sighed and rested his chin on his hands. Then he stood up, and paced around the huge stone room of the tower. Then he sat again. He repeated this process several times, until he came to a stop in front of his goldfish bowl.
“Sho-chan,” He said, leaning down to look at the little red fish swimming around, “I’ve decided! I’m going to ask him! I’ve got nothing to lose, right?”
The fish, as usual, ignored him, and kept swimming around in his little ocean.
“Because it’s my birthday, right? I’m not asking for too much, right?” The fish still ignored him, “Okay! I’ll ask him!”
“Ask me what?”
“Oh-chan!” Aiba squealed, spinning around to see Ohno coming up out of the trapdoor at the edge of the room, “You’re back!”
“Yes, I’m home,” The blonde said, “Were you talking to yourself again, Masaki? That’s a bad habit, you know,”
Aiba giggled nervously and watched as the man placed his basket on the table that he was just pacing around.
“I got you a new mug,” He said, gently unwrapping a green mug wrapped in paper, “Really, I don’t know how you keep breaking them,”
“Oh-chan, I..”
“Sorry it took me so long today, you weren’t lonely, were you?”
“No, Oh-chan,” Aiba said. Just as he opened his mouth again to speak, Ohno turned to face him, his arms open.
“So where’s my kiss?”
Aiba stepped into Ohno’s embrace and dipped his head very slightly so that he could press his lips into Ohno’s. The kiss was quick and chaste and Ohno narrowed his eyes when he pulled away.
“What’s the matter?”
“Well, Oh-chan… You know that it’s my birthday tomorrow, right?”
“Yes, I know,” Ohno said, “Because you still haven’t decided what you want for dinner. I’ll have to go to the village tomorrow morning,”
“I.. Well.. Uh.. I know what I want for my birthday present,” Aiba’s voice faded out and he looked to his goldfish for support. However, as usual, the fish wasn’t interested. He was actually picking up the stones from the bottom of his bowl and spitting them back out again.
“I want to go to the big lake!” Aiba blurted, squeezing his eyes shut. When there was no reply, he opened them slowly and peeked at Ohno.
Who was standing frozen in front of him, his face a picture of horror.
“Oh-chan?”
“You want to leave?” Ohno spluttered, his eyes wide, “You want to leave me?”
“No, Oh-chan! I would never!”
“You want to be just like the others!” Ohno cried, stepping backwards, “You’re going to leave me!”
“No, I’m not! I just.. Oh-chan… For my birthday… I would like… Just for my birthday..”
“How could you? Why would you do this to me?”
“I don’t want to leave you, Oh-chan!” Aiba cried, rushing to the smaller man and pulling him into an awkward embrace, “It’s just so stuffy in here, I just want to get some fresh air,”
“Then open a window,” Ohno snapped, pulling away from Aiba.
“And feel the water from the lake on my feet,”
“Then have a bath,” Ohno said. He moved to the kitchen area of the tower with his basket and began pulling out ingredients.
“I’m sorry,” Aiba mumbled. There was no winning this argument with the other man, and Aiba needed his consent to go. Without Ohno, there was no getting out of the locked trapdoor that led to the stairs; only he had the key.
“Don’t be sorry,” Ohno said, “Just don’t ask again. Soup for dinner?”
“Yes, please,”
“Good. While I put this on, go and have a bath and get into the bed. It’s been a while since we had fun, don’t you think?”
“Yes,” Aiba said sadly, lowering his eyes to the floor.
“Now, Masaki,”
“Yes,” Aiba padded to one of the only two rooms off of the large room and closed the door behind him.

When Jun opened his eyes, he was starving. After a quick look around him, he dug into his satchel until he pulled out a small roll of bread wrapped in paper. He unwrapped it carefully, pulled off a tiny chunk, and re-wrapped it. Once the roll was safely back in his bag, he nibbled on the chunk of bread and made a decision.
Jun would go North, because that was the furthest from the village. He wasn’t upset that he had to leave; it was simply just time to move on. Of course, being a wanted man didn’t help the situation.
Jun polished off the chunk of bread and licked his fingers clean with his pink tongue, before climbing slowly to his feet and stretching his tired legs. After a moment, he began to walk slowly but surely towards his chosen direction, knowing that he would have a hard couple of weeks in front of him.
---
Aiba rubbed his eyes. He was still naked and lying in the bed he shared with Ohno. Ohno, however, had left the tower about an hour ago to go to the village to buy Aiba a birthday present and food for his birthday dinner.
Aiba sighed and got to his feet. He didn’t bother covering himself up, as there was no one around. On bare feet, he padded to the window and bent at the waist, leaning on the windowsill as he stared out into the distance.
Just on the horizon, Aiba could see the huge lake and just behind it, the village that Ohno visited. It usually took him about five hours to get there and back, which is why he was currently still unclothed. If Ohno was there, there would be no way he could get away from the position he was in without having hips slamming into his ass for a couple of rounds.
Aiba sighed and wiped at a tear that had escaped from its cage of lashes. It was starting to rain, and that was making him feel even worse.
“I just want to see the lake,” He whispered half to himself, and half to the goldfish that never paid any attention to him.
---
Jun didn’t know how far he had walked, or that he was walking looking at the ground, until he bumped into a huge rock, and knocked himself over. With a curse, he got to his feet and rubbed at his head. It was only then that he realized that the huge rock wasn’t a random rock, but an incredibly tall stone tower.
After close inspection, Jun couldn’t find an entrance, so opted to climb up to a window he could see higher up. Because there was no entrance, he came to the conclusion that no body was inside, so he could get out of the rain and maybe make a fire to dry himself off and warm up.
He reached up and grabbed onto one of the stone bricks, heaving himself up higher and higher until he came to the wooden window ledge.
He gripped the ledge and pulled himself up, only to come face to face with a beautiful man with copper hair and tawny eyes.
As the force of his pull threw him inside the tower, the copper haired man shrieked and fell backwards, Jun on top of him.
“Oh.. Shit,” Jun muttered, pinning the wailing man beneath him as he tried to figure out how to get out of this situation.
