Got a teaser for the little merman for you!
I probably won't start posting it for a while though~ xD
Ohno was really starting to think that Aiba was just taking the piss out of all of them. He had dragged them out to some forsaken abandoned island with the excuse;
“There are merpeople there! Real ones! Like in ‘The Little Mermaid’“
So of course, Sho said that he would go with him to check it out. Sho couldn’t resist Aiba’s puppy eyes. And neither could Jun or Ohno, apparently.
“At least I can do a bit of night fishing,” Ohno admitted begrudgingly as he gathered his fishing equipment and stepped over his sleeping friends. As per usual, Aiba was sprawled out over Sho, snoring away. Sho was curled up next to him, looking as if he was happy to be squashed by Aiba’s weight. Jun, however, was sitting up, looking right at him.
“What’s wrong, Leader?” He asked softly, “Can’t sleep?”
Ohno smiled and held up his equipment, “I want to do some fishing. Want to join me?”
Jun smiled and shook his head, “Thanks, but no thanks. I think I’ll go back to sleep. Don’t wander off too far, alright?”
Ohno laughed, “Yes, mum,” He said, ducking when Jun threw Aiba’s shoe at him, “If I’m not back by morning, I’ll probably be asleep next to the ocean or something. I’m heading up the hill a bit though, and fishing in the stream,”
Jun nodded and threw himself backwards, “Don’t get hurt,” He mumbled, before dozing off quickly.
Ohno sighed and closed his eyes momentarily as he walked across the huge sandy beach, listening to the soft sounds of the water rushing up onto land, before falling back towards the sea. He opened his eyes, briefly thinking about how Sho would probably shout at him if he saw him walking with his eyes closed.
He turned his head quizzically towards the water, when he thought he saw someone poking their head out of the waves and watching him. However, after deciding that it was just his eyes playing tricks on him in the dark, he carried on walking towards the thick stream that ran down from the hill into the sea.
Once he had arrived, he climbed up towards the forest, until he found a nice, flat patch of ground, slightly higher than the other land around him, and set up his equipment.
He then laid back on the soft grass and closed his eyes, listening to the stream water trickle down towards the ocean.
He leapt forward, gripping the soft grass beneath him tightly when he saw a flash of orange swim up the stream passed him.
