Well a not-so-happy update.
All the potential drama surrounding me aside... today we had the passing of a family member. My sister's cat, Ophelia, died in her sleep this morning. There was no warning signs, nothing. It came as a shock since she wasn't an old cat and she was acting normal about this time last night. All we can think is the strain on her heart from the obesity just got to be too much.... All I have to say now is that my kitty needs to last several more years, because I don't know how I will take her passing if its any sooner.
