Day 08 → A moment you felt the most satisfied with your life
It was a gorgeous day in May 2009, and I had just finished my last exam of my last class of my last year of undergrad. (The cherry on top: my final dentist's appointment (the last of a block spanning several months) had been earlier in the day.) I remember walking out to my car and texting all of my friends to tell them I was FREE, FREEEEEE AT LAST.
(I enjoyed school, but senioritis and I were pretty well acquainted by then.)
Things have gone a bit awry since then - Carcrashapalooza, my mother's surgery, spending a few months broke - but as things go, it could be worse, things are getting back on track, and, besides, perfect is boring.
