Day 28 of the 37 days of working without a day off.
I was half-expecting to be incoherent by this stage of the work-a-thon but instead I am actually quite content and mildly hyperactive. Currently I am doing five day weeks at Wilkinson and when I am not there I am at Pure Magick working for them. Wilkinson in its infinite wisdom has decided to trust me, I repeat ME, with controlling the cash office and being responsible for the stupid amounts of money that fly into, through and out of the safe. So I now spend my days on my own in the office, counting money, dealing with any mistakes that occur downstairs on the shop floor and navigating the room using the wheelie chair. Woo hoo.
Once the working stint completes I will be heading off to Uh-merica for something stupid like 6 days to work there - boo :-(. So technically my first day off in over a month will be spent on a plane, but it is all good because I will get most of it back due to travelling across time zones. On the upside I get to see Nathan which is possibly the best thing in life ever. I miss him! So yes, random adventures are going to be had, crazy events will occur and we may possibly get some work done. So basically, I have to fly there, record some stuff, visit San Francisco, visit my Aunt with the many children and the newly arrived triplets, spend time with Nathan outside of work, sleep and possibly eat all before I fly back again. Busy, busy, busy.
Upon my return, I am thrust straight back into Wilkinson - literally the day I get back (I kid you not) for a 30 hour week which doesn’t include my hours at Pure Magick. These 30 hour Wilkinson weeks then continue until the end of September when I go back to America again. If the phrase no rest for the wicked is to be believed that I am a very naughty person.
In other news, aside for PETA campaigns possibly taking me all over the country at the end of the year, getting the web comic off the ground, involvement in a comedy sketch show, starting to write three books, one poetry collection and a short story collection, ridiculous amounts of painting and a possibly exhibition in an art gallery in a few months, there is nothing else to report.
I am scheduling a burn out sometime around January, technically it should probably happen before then but I don’t have the time nor the diary space to fit it in right now.
