It's not fair. It's really not.
OK, finally got a callback about the mail sorting job. They are doing induction on Saturday from 8-12.
I have a shift at work from 12-8.
And they're not doing another induction for months, it seems. So the chances of this job becoming a viable alternative to the call centre of doom hinge on me either finding someone to do that shift for me with only two days notice, or quitting. And this new job is by no means certain enough to quit for yet.
