- Sophia's first experience with sand. At first she wouldn't really go beyond the beach blanket. It was just really hard for her to walk in it so she preferred to stay centralized to all of us. Tomas and I decided to go for a walk and when we came back a short time later, this is what we found. Apparently she had taken a shower in sand.
And then there was this shot at the end of the day.

-Viva Las Vegas! My honey booked a trip to Vegas for my vacation! I'll be off July 15 - 24, during which two of those days we'll be staying at the New York, New York Hotel and Casino sans Sophia. Although I will miss her dearly, Vegas is no place for children. Up until a couple of days ago, the prospects of a vacation during my time off was looking dimmer and dimmer. Tomas even told me that he really didn't know of any place he wanted to get away to for a couple of days - which really bummed me out. But then this! What a guy.
- This is Rayne, my most favorite female co-worker bartender in the whole wide world. Damn you Portland, you're taking her in January.
Sunday night I went to Karin's house for a girl's night to celebrate Rayne's 25th birthday. Thank the good Lord for girls. To think I wasn't going to go.
