Got a big family weekend coming up (I typed "family movie" at first- there's something wrong with me; also, whoa! The font's different in the box.. where you type... the entry thing.), my sister's up from Florida and there's this big get-together Saturday for my maternal grandmother's eightieth birthday. We're going to a German restaurant, which ( Read more... )

It's times like this I'm glad most of my family lives in a different country and mostly thinks I'm a weirdo. Good luck? Have fun with the German food? Lots of potatoes...I'll try not to spoil you on DW. Unless you want me to spoil you on DW, in which case I will totally do so.

Aw, the little fez is cute.

*sigh* Anyway, blah blah, should be grateful, blah, some people have no family at all, blah, there's always illegal downloading. And no, I almost definitely won't want spoilers.

Right? Mike would look adorable in a fez. Joel too.

Eh, I'm fine not feeling grateful. There's something to be said for a life of solitude. Almost definitely isn't definitely...

It's really very difficult not to look adorable in a fez.

There's something to be said for well-timed solitude. If the get-together was tonight, I'd be happier about it. We-ell, my imagination is too anal for absolutes. "Almost definitely" is the best I can do.

Indeed. But Mike and Joel would look especially adorable. Possibly even adorkable.

Families rarely respect fandom time. So if silence falls and the Doctor dies for real and it turns out Rory and Amy were Gangers all along, I should tell you?

Heh, if you say so.

No. And no. Let's see, when would I want to be spoiled for the DW season finale I've waited months and months for... hmm... I guess if the world's electricity went out and there was no hope of anyone ever getting on the Internet or watching TV or turning on a light bulb again for the rest of time. That- yes, I would definitely and for sure want to be spoiled then.

I'm half-surprised it didn't happen, to the best of my knowledge.

Well if that happened I'm not sure how I would spoil you, exactly.

Not everyone's smart enough to recognize the sartorial and/or comedic and/or adorablity potential of a fez, I guess.

We-ell, I suppose it might take some time to find each other in the apocalyptic chaos that would no doubt ensue. I might have to go wandering the streets, asking strangers if they happened to catch the DW finale before the end of the modern world.

Yeah, but if anyone was, I would have bet Best Brains, Inc.
