Ahh, my apartment is at last family-free. For now.

Anyway, I found out that we're not allowed to watch shows online at work during our break. So, no more catching up on The Daily Show and/or Stephen Colbert at lunch for me. That kind of sucks, because it's pretty darn nice to watch something funny in the middle of the day. I really noticed I ( Read more... )

Hah, I just saw Company yesterday! It was...well, it was fun enough. You get to see Stephen Colbert dancing up on Christina Hendricks rather goofily, so that's worthwhile, although it only lasts like five seconds. I don't know, it's not my favorite production of Company I've ever seen, but it was kind of cool just for who was in it. Plus my mom loved it, which was nice. Neil Patrick Harris does a great job, too.

I want to go see X-Men: First Class, too...

Yeah, the plot summary didn't exactly thrill me, but the cast seems pretty stellar. I dunno...

Oh do you?

Well, the plot is better than it sounds, and the cast is solid. You can hear parts of it in this interview.

I do, coincidentally enough...

Ooh, I will listen to that.. when I can.

Well, if you want to roll into Columbia and watch it with me, I'm sure that can be arranged.

You should, it's pretty charming.

Around what time? Tofico has a vet appointment around noon, so that may take up some time but after, I'm free.

I'm sure it is. I'm really most interested in seeing Stephen Colbert in something that's not The Report.

Well, it's pretty much up to you, really. I'm kind of planning to run out early and get my car serviced, after that I'm headed to the mall. Eh, the car can wait until Sunday. Anyway, solidly after noon is what I'm saying.

It's definitely odd. He doesn't wear his glasses and he's in this hilarious turtle-neck sweater throughout.

Well, it looks like there's a showings at 3 and 4:15, so either of those would be the best for me, so I wouldn't have to drive back in the dark.

Is his character nice?

Hmm. 3 could work quite well. You are looking at AMC Columbia 14, correct?

Ehhhhh. It's Sondheim, no one's really nice. He's not Shadow Line not-nice, at least.

Indeed I am. I think I'll have enough time to get there by then.

Hm. Well, is he dorky?

That's okay? I definitely don't want to rush a vet appointment for Tofico.

Oh, he is definitely dorky. Big ol' dork. With a bit of tummy, it's sweet.

Eh, Tofico won't care. I don't think it'll take more than an hour, and I can get from my house to Columbia in 40 minutes, so it's totally fine.

Nice. Adorkability makes up for a lot.

Hm, well, okay. We'll see if I bother with the car or save it for Sunday and just do the other shopping (place your bets). Anyway, I should be ready and waiting by 3.

Plus, you know, singing and dancing is always fun to see him do.

Awesome. So I will see you then!
