Open mike
What a miserable bank holiday. Rain Rain Rain.
Yesterday JP and I popped to the pub next door for some red wine and scrabble. While we were there people started arriving. Musicians etc. They were setting up for an open mike night. I asked about this (2 red wines down) and asked if I was able to read some of my poems. They said yes so I popped home to make my choice.
When I got back a band was about to start. I asked when it was my turn and they put me on with the band!!! I had to read along to their music. Yikes!! Anyway, I did and it was a success. JP said there were cheers and woops!! I read my internet porn poem, then I read a couple of my children's poems. I'm going to go along next week and read some more.
Today I didn't do much. Too wet outside.
