Summary: It was supposed to be their one chance to be together. Instead it plunged them straight into a nightmare. So yeah, I've had this plot bunny in my head since the first time I watched Touched. Because it seemed like playing with fire sending a confessed Richard off alone with Kahlan, and things could have easily ended up going very, very much worse than they did. So I guess that makes this a sort of alternate-Touched and beyond.
