[Jinx has never run so fast in her life. Not when being fired upon, not when fearing for her own well being. The only time that comes close is the mad scramble last year when Billy Numerous tried to corner her and Lily in the Teashop.

The door opens and she slides in quick as the breeze, she's never been in Artemis's apartment before but she's not taking the time to sight see.]

[Artemis had been fetching Lily a glass of juice (Diana's naturally, not his) when Jinx burst in. He called to her from the kitchen area.]

She's through here.

[Not bothering with small talk, he lead her straight to the bedroom where Lily was sat up in a bed that made her look tiny, propped up by a mass of pillows. Resting on her stomach was another pillow, and ontop of that, her left arm. Her forearm looked, for a lack of a better word, completely bent. Like the arch of a rainbow.

She looked up when they entered the room and began to whimper as Artemis set the glass down at her bedside.]

[Gently slips an arm around her middle being as careful as possible about the arm and squeezing her gently]

[Lily reached out with her good arm, gripping at Jinxs work shirt, looking up at her with big, blue, watery eyes before bursting into tears and buriying her tear stained face into Jinxs chest.]

[That sound you can't hear is the sound of Jinx's heart cracking right down the middle as tears spring to her eyes and she clutches Lily to her chest]

I'm sorry honey I came as fast as I could. I dropped everything and ran the entire way. I'm so sorry.

[Though, he guesses any injury to a child in serious to the mother. He thinks about offering information about what he about Lilys arm but decides against it. He's not a doctor and he shouldn't lead them to believe he is.

He leaves for the door to call for the detectives that can't follow D-Comm signals.]
