Thank god it's finally sunny!
This weekend was pretty fun, even though I did work on master's related stuff for most of Saturday. That is except for the trip we took to Office Max for new ink which resulted in us being hit by another car. It was totally the other guy's fault and luckily he's loaded and just wants to pay to repair the car (plus a rental and everything) rather than go through insurance so it will be more expedient.
Friday night we went to see Black Snake Moan with some friends... pulpy goodness and a semi-naked Christina Ricci made for a good time. Also, the guys from Shaun of the Dead are in a new movie called Hot Fuzz which looks fucking hilarious and Quentin Tarantino is putting out a campy double feature, so good movies coming up.
Sunday we went on a hike with some people I met online. We rallied and had breakfast at a cafe in Sausalito and then caravanned to Cataract Falls. Sooo pretty! It wasn't a super long hike but it was steep with lots of stairs so my thighs are feeling sore today. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one of my hiking socks so I wore regular socks... now I have huge blisters on my heels. Troy didn't make it to the top but did well considering his ankle is still healing, and it was fun to meet some online peeps in real life.
