yeah, that really is one of my favorite lines. i certainly struggled with how to word it so it wasn't too obvious it was for meant for Kahlan not Richard

Very intense. I love how confused Kahlan was at her feelings of seeing submissive!Cara.

yeah i didn't want Kahlan to be unaware of her feelings, or that they were coming out of nowhere, but i never thought she'd just accept them in a heartbeat. i always figured she'd grapple with it a bit first. and thanks for enjoying my story

i of course wasn't fond of the ending, but not just because of the dahlia thing, i felt like a lot of things were left loose. not they had much of a chance to fill them, being canceled and all, but look at the change from season 1 to 2. there was little emphasis on the effect Richard had on the people. so here i wanted to tell a bit of a story about how Seeker and Co. affected people.
