Bridget announces "Camp Wanatachi" is getting full production!
Our BAMC Bridget Regan is co-Producer of the play "Camp Wanatachi", described on their website as a "spirit-soaked hormone-charged new musical comedy about two 13 year old girls who fall in love at Christian summer camp".
They had a pared down weekend showing recently, to draw attention to the project and garner support, and it went so well that last week Bridget announced the show was getting a small run as a full production in early 2011 at the La MaMa Experimental Theater Club in NYC.
She specifically thanked a certain avid fandom: "I especially want to thank all of you oh so beautiful Seeker fans who have followed me to CAMP WANATACHI (which quite possibly couldn't be more different than Seeker...) from all over the world and given us your support and interest. You guys are seriously the best."
Now, I personally happened to see two women falling in love on Seeker this past season, so I don't know how different this project really is. ;)
