You are nothing but the girl you beat yourself down into being
Don't you wish that you could see it from the height that you grew into
Why is it you're shrinking as the world is crashing in
And why can't you become what you were once before
I'm sorry, don't take it personally
You know you want me to tell you it's all right to be this sad
Well I'm sorry but it's not, but you won't change
Now will you stop a moment
Listen without caring for once
Why don't you look at yourself in the mirror darling
Before you decide you're too ugly to be seen
Before you slash a thousand cliched visions from your mind
If you're as useless as you claim to be, stop trying to sell yourself to me
Remember the girl you used to be before you knew me
Before you thought you knew yourself
Ok, that was intended to be an attempt at songwriting. Obviously, it failed. I like a few of the concepts in it, so I'll leave it up in case I decide to work on it later, but that's about it.
Josh: If you're online reading this, please call me. We haven't talked in about a week. I miss you. Call me.
Justin: Happy two months!
Everyone else: If you want a personal message, I'll think of one later. Those were the only two that I really needed to say, though.
I haven't gotten a yearbook yet. Not sure if I will- they gave my senior quote to Stephanie Brennan, and half the people I know didn't even get their senior quotes posted. Damn yearbook committee.
Signing off, as I have nothing useful to say tonight. Dress for warm weather, and if you can bear exposing yourself to bedroom ghosts, avoid the covers at all costs.
