1. Ten things that you think are common in your fic
1. Angst. It's extremely rare for me to do a fluff fic!
2. Position reversal. I don't have a preferred top or bottom. My LotR fiction and SPN fiction all have same pairings with different tops and bottoms. Position depends on the character in the fic.
3. 'Emotional' Sex -- I think I have one fic that's a one night stand, and even then it's not a Wham-Bam-Thank-You-Man, a relationship is implied.
4. For the most part, in a slash fic my characters are gay and have always been gay. I've never written a bisexual character or a questioning character. Good challenge for me right here!
5. I write a lot of blow jobs... Apparently that's my go to foreplay!
6. Most of the time the sex is in missionary position.
7. It's mostly RPF -- I usually find it easier *shrugs*
8. They're usually AU fics -- my RPF fics, they're not actors on their shows or movies or such, um, ever.
9. I don't use current significant others, don't like to mention them. I respect the actors I write about and their wives/girlfriends/friends that they have and unless there's a good reason for them to be there, I don't.
10. Military/Nursing or Medical field for jobs or scenes.

1. Dom/Sub roles, or one character being more dominant. I switch it up, and can't write BDSM to save my life.
2. Quick relationships. Although I enjoy reading a good smut fic, I can't write it if it isn't realistic to me.
3. A/B/O -- I like werewolves and vampires and the such -- But I don't understand knotting and self lubricating. I will read it but it has to be on the realistic side but it freaks me out a bit. No offense to anyone who writes or enjoys it! I have read a few that I really enjoyed, but I don't seek it out.
4. Mpreg. This I'm warming up to, though it freaked me out at first. I don't think I'll ever write it -- haven't been pregnant and the need to make it realistic would just not work for me.
5. Come play and facials. Come across it a lot, not my thing. I would probably kill my husband if he ever thought that would be a good idea.
6. Threesomes; again something I couldn't personally do, so I can't write it. I've read a few, mostly Harry Potter fiction, but don't actively seek it out.
7. Cheating -- and this usually turns me off from a fic. I don't tolerate it, I think it's an awful thing to do to someone, no matter what the circumstances are. It's effected me personally -- when I was 14 my entire life was ripped apart because of it, and I find it deplorable. I refuse to write it or read it.
8. Extreme underage; I know it's a kink, but it gives me the heebie jeebies.
9. Daddy!Son pairings. I had a hard time getting over sibling incest, this one I can't do.
10. Bashing of characters or other ships/fandoms or real life relationships.

1. That I could write from start to finish instead of in chunks and bits and pieces, usually starting with an ending and prologue.
2. That I didn't stress out so much about sex scenes.
3. That they would just go from my head straight to paper, exactly how I think of them in my mind.
4. That each one made me more confident than the last. This will never happen, I'm sure lol
5. They were more sci-fi or fantasy esque. I've dabbled, but never posted and only stuck to realistic AUs.
6. That my sex scenes didn't take about 5 times longer to write than the rest of the story.
7. Annnnd this is as far as I can get here. I am sure there are a million things, I just can't think of any!
