I'm searching for a fic that I read a long time ago. I remember that Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas were traveling together when they are attacked by orcs, I think. This is the only story that comes to mind, although Gimli isn't in it.
It's absolutely great but it hasn't been finished and probably never will be either.
Still a very good read, even if it's not the one you were looking for.

Gimli is definitely in it so I'm sure that isn't it, but thanks anyway! I think it might be The Test of the Fellowship and as soon as I can read enough to be sure, I'll let you know.
