Steampunk or Victorian AU fic
Okay this might seem weird, but here we go. As some of you know, Dragon*con was a few weeks ago. For some reason there was a HUGE number of people in steampunk attire. And since then I've been sort of in the mood to read something steampunk.
Steampunk is essentially like Cyberpunk, only with Steam. Confused? Okay cyberpunk essentially is Blade Runner, Dark City, The Matrix, etc, while Steampunk is more like Stardust, and VanHelsing, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Usually it's set during victorian era (ie: steam era) but with more modern technology than what was avilable at the time or taking modern things (like computers) and give them more geers, and make them work with "technology" avilable at the time.
I'm not going to entierly hold my breath for any sort of lotr rps steampunk, since I doubt there's precious few, if any. However in liew of Steampunk stories, anyone have any good victorian era recs? Preferably Orlando or Elijah baised but I'm not picky. Even het would be alright. But please no Ian fics and no mprgs.
