Well, I was taking a ride through Moscow on my Lincoln when suddenly this reporter-girl popped up! After introducing herself as talawolf she asked me for an interview. I agreed, what I seldom do, even though it was my no-press day. And here’s the outcome:

Are you wanting to get a career in journalism? What else are you interested in doing?
I am more than wanting it =) I dream about it already!
The desire to become a journalist came to me about 3 years ago. It was quite unexpected. One day, when talking to my mom about me making a career as an economist I simply said: “No, I want to be a journalist”. And from that time I never seriously changed my choice.
Besides journalism I’m interested in PR, advertising business, psychology, becoming rich and famous ;)

Just how many languages do you know?
Five. Russian, German, English, Ukrainian (thanks grandma!) and Polish (already starting to forget it). But those are the ones I know. As for decent speaking it is Russian, English, German and Ukrainian. Foreign languages were always one of my strongest points. Partially because of the time I spent living in Germany. It may sound odd, but watching ‘Cartoon Network’ (not even knowing English at that time!) gave me a really good base to start with. Many of my relatives are from Ukraine, so it’s quite natural that I have some basic knowledge of their language. As for Polish… I honestly don’t know how I managed to learn it… I lived in Poland from the age of 0 to 2… It’s also quite similar to Ukrainian… So I think that’s why I still understand those weir Polish videos we have at home XD

What got you into art?
When little, drawing was my biggest hobby. It started with “My little Pony”, continued with ‘The Lion King”… I just couldn’t stop! I remember dreaming about making a career in animation and having my very own cartoon company… But this was quite a while ago. I continued to draw during my middle-school years, I even went to art school for two years, though I had to quit it because of regular school.
Then the desire to draw hit me right before my summer vacation. I accidentally bumped into ‘fanart.lionking.org” and saw all the amazing art… I made an account at once, but uploaded only three months later. After a while I realized fan art wasn’t enough for me. So I started creating my own characters, experimenting with different styles and mediums… During the year I’ve spent drawing I revived my long forgotten skills and even started drawing portraits! At current I can’t imagine my day without occasional doodling =)

What got you in to LOTR?
The desire to gain a whole new world, where everything would differ from my everyday life. When getting into Tolkien I perfectly understood that I’d have to live under his rules, but I still had hope I would be able to change the aspects I needed. And slowly, after three times of re-reading LoTR I was able to perfectly understand Middle Earth. Right now I feel perfectly comfortable about it being my dream world.
The movies, however, made me feel a little uncomfortable at first. Because Tolkien’s world is a little different in everybody’s imagination. So an absolutely different Sauron and Lothlorien didn’t impress me at first. But after a while I got used to Jackson’s point of view and even installed some of his ideas into my Middle Earth.

What's your favorite thing to eat?
Chocolate (“Ritter Sport”, “Milka”; mostly milk chocolate with nuts *yum!*), pizza, pasta, seafood, watermelon, cheese cake, chocolate covered cottage cheese (called ‘sirok’ in Russian XD)… I’m sure there’s something I forgot… I’m a real glutton!
Oh, and if you add some cans of DEW above all mentioned above… Aarrgh! *ecstasy* Need.D.E.W.

If you wish to be interviewed by a soon-to-become professional journalist, then leave a comment on this post =) I LOVE interviewing people!
