Actually, the way the comm works is that only myself and the other mod are actually members. If you want the comm to show up in your f-list, you just need to click 'Watch this community'. If you don't want that, you don't need to do anything, actually. All of the posts are visible and open for commenting to everyone. Hope that cleared it up? Let me know!
ohh haha. I am such a noob. Ive had LJ for quite sometimes and just started to really use it. I like the blogging community and find reading entries interesting. I love supernatural and I see that you guys do too. :)
No problem, it takes a little while for everyone to find their way around, I certainly remember. :) Well, glad to see you diving in, the Supernatural fandom on LJ is ENORMOUS and there's something for everybody. The spnsecrets comm, for instance, is kind of a crazy glimpse into people's psyches, lol.
wow. i see that haha. Supernatural's not so popular here where I am from. Not a lot of people watch it and I couldnt really talk to anyone around here about the episode. They said it was too scary for them... which I dont think it is. Ive been a fan since day one and thats why i stuck to the story. I got my boyfriend into it and hes the only other person who i can talk to and discuss the plots BUT hes not one to conversate too much with. Hes the quiet type. He'd rather just watch it and... thats it LOL.
Ha, I know what you mean, I really only have my parents to watch with and they're nowhere near as invested as I am. Right now, I'm not on LJ as much as I used to be, but it's definitely cool to be able to go to the comms or your flist and be able to squee over the show or get into heavy discussion. Finding people that enjoy what you enjoy about the show is really important, although you may be someone that likes to talk with a variety of people, so who knows!
I enjoy just being able to say "OMG!! did THAT just happen?" or "shoot, did you see what happen to Sam the other day?" my friends would go "whose sam?" LMAO.
I get that way with Dexter and Vampire Diaries too. I usually dont watch tv as much as I use to but those are the only thing Ill catch. I havent found any interest in shows as much as I did as a teenager. I remember Full House and the whole TGIF crew but its like no one watches TV anymore. It feels so weird :(
