Love or War: I prefer love, but in a just case, to protect others, I'll fight as quick as the next person.
Strength or Mercy: I prefer mercy, provided people don't try to use me or treat me like a carpet.
Determined or Accepting: Accepting usually - I choose my battles.
Making your own Destiny or Accepting Fate: Contrary-wise to the above answer, I do believe we make our own destinies by the choices we make.
Life or Death: Life is sacred - death is inevitable - the important part is how we live and why we die
Brave or Safe: I prefer to be safe, but will be brave when needed.
GENERAL LOTR QUESTIONS:
Which is your favorite movie: If you are going to make me choose ONE, I'd say Return of the King (extended version!) - it has everyone and the victory of good over evil.
Book?: Nope, I read it like Tolkien wanted it - as ONE book.
Favorite character and why: Ooooh - why the hard questions? I have several (Faramir, Eomer, Boromir) - actually, I should say I like Boromir after the movies with the way Sean Bean played him. Did not like him in the books! These three have given so much for their homes, and they are not really understood by the rulers (Theoden & Denethor) that they serve. Denethor may have prefered Boromir, but I don't think he understood him.
Who do you relate to the most?: Strangely enough - it would probably be Sam - I'm generally a follower, but will step up to the plate when needed. I'll give full and absolute support to those I've chosen as leaders. My family is the center of my life, and while I think it is nice to travel, I'm a homebody. Also, I'll stubborn up and fight to protect hearth, home, family, and honor.
What got you into the fandom?: I first read the series when I was in 6th grade, and I've read it at least once a year ever since. Now that is over two decades, and I give the credit to my grandmother for introducing me to fantasy!
If you could live anywhere in Middle-earth, where would it be?: Either Minas Tirith or Edoras - maybe I could summer in one and winter in the other?
What would you do with the One Ring?: Get rid of it - I would not have the power to control others for all the world! I believe in free-will.
If you could have a Ring with any power, what would it be?: Wisdom - not intelligence or knowledge, but the bone-deep, heart-led wisdom that leads to a strong, good, spiritual life.
