[Mod Post] Minimum Level of Feedback Required for All Gifts--
Hi folks,
As lotr_sesa winds down for 2015, we've had lots of really wonderful positives come out of this round, including an impressive increase in art, stories and participants. The master list and a larger post about what we've learned from this round and what to expect from future rounds are coming, but before that, something more pressing has come to our attention that we'd like to address now.
Just because we've moved to the AO3 does not mean that kudos are now the minimum amount of feedback required for your gifts. The minimum amount of feedback required remains a comment thanking your author/artist for creating a story/piece of art for you.
If you have not left a comment on your gift thanking your writer/artist, now is the time to do that.
If you have been given more than one gift/treated, you are required to leave comments on all of them.
This is one of the things we will be paying far closer attention to in the future. This is a gift exchange, and as such, it has one basic rule: You get a gift, you say thanks.
Thank you so much to everyone who has left kudos and comments on the submissions so far! Every time you do so, you make the participants and the mods happy. And for everyone who hasn't yet had a chance? Now's a good time! Go make your fellow participants happy.
