Wow. This truly held me entranced - the emotions and characterizations of these two are so deep and complex and filled with meaning that they just drive this fic along, and leave you unable to stop reading until you get to the end. I love the fact that Maedhros isn't just okay with being saved, that he's a bundle of issues and emotion that feels very real. I really loved how this fic opened, their first conversation was perfect - and then how the ending held a strand of the same theme, Maedhros' conviction that he wasn't good enough to be saved, and this resolution just provided such good catharsis that it made me feel better. I'm sure everything isn't straightened out, not by half - but it makes you feel it could be
